How I got the Free Kindle Fire HD...

...Ok, I think I recovered from my actions...or maybe people just keep asking me to finish the story.

I bought this....

and they took pitty on me and gave me this...

Shocking I know.  So we all know that Mr. Man has been all over this van thing for some time and I have not.  He is known to text me pictures of vans he sees for sale on the side of the road.  I think vans are smart and practical and very unattractive which over rules the smart and practical...until now. It all started on Cyber Monday.  Mr. Man texted me and said "Hey the Toyota dealership is having a really great deal why don't you go check it out"  I have learned to appease him and to go check it out and then give him every reason why it will not work.  Apparently he has learned this trick of mine.  Some time back I gave a list of things that had to happen in order for us to get a van.
  • It had to be used
  • It had to be a Toyota Sienna with all the goodies
  • It had to have a VERY low interest rate or none at all
  • It had to be newer then the car
  • It had to be under a certain price point (that honestly was unrealistic)
  • I also was not willing to search for it
  • I was not going to sit at dealership with two small children
  • Pigs had to learn fly under a purple moon
There case closed.  He would never find this and I would never have to drive a van.

The dealership WAS having a great deal with 0% interest on used vehicles and they had a van instock that fit the bill AND they had a new manager who slashed prices BUT I was not lugging two kids around a dealership.  Then it happened....the sales manager called and asked if they could bring the van to my house for a test drive.  Seriously???  Hey if you are willing to take the time and effort I will test drive it, but I am NOT buying it.  So they brought it over after work that very day.  Then they asked if I wanted them to take my car back to the dealership to be appraised?  Sure, why not. Later that night they called and we wheeled and dealed and they said great see you tomorrow to fill out the paperwork....Oh and lets throw in a free Kindle HD to sweeten the pot.  Crap.  Now I drive a van.   Seriously though I am impressed with the sales staff.  That was customer service right there and they sold a van that otherwise would have sat on the lot.

It burns a bit doesn't it?...... but, I must say I have come round to pretty much loving my van. I only have one.. so far... but we do ALOT of travel and LARGE grocery hauls that are far better in a van than trying to stuff in a trunk and dig back out after!! LOL
